Dear Knottygirls,
It is with a heavy heart that we have had to make a very difficult business decision. Knottygirl will be closing on December 1st.

We know you find this news shocking and sad, it is a necessary tough small business call. While we think our obsession with fiber should always come first, the retail market is difficult at best. For the month of October, EVERYTHING in the store will be 10% off. Please note that all sales are final. We can no longer accept any special orders. In November, we will continue to slash prices as inventory begins to dwindle. We will be open in October Tuesday thru Friday, 11am – 4pm, and Saturday 12-5.

In November we are currently planning on continuing with the same hours. We will keep you posted. Please call us at (203) 254-5648 for the latest details.
Now what? Most importantly, we want to encourage you to keep knitting! Knottygirl closing is just a speed bump in your fiber life. Where should go now to
purchase your yarn and supplies?

I STRONGLY encourage you to support your LYS, and I have found one that I love. My Knottygirls and I have scoured the CT countryside to find a wonderful store that feels like, well, us. And the winner is…drumroll please…A Stitch in Time in the town of Bethel. Bethel, where is Bethel? It’s about 35 minutes from us. It’s a great store, lots of yarn with variety, classes I think you’ll love, and they also have needlework supplies and punch hooking. Maybe it’s time to add a new obsession to your list. Please give this shop a visit and see if you don’t love it as much as we do.

Thank you for three wonderful years. We have loved making you part of our family and hope that when you think of Knottygirl in the future that your are filled with wonderful memories. We will do the same.
Best Always.
